The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-18A (220W) Isolated DC-DC Charger is a professional, adaptive 3-stage DC to DC charger with integrated Bluetooth capability.

Designed for dual battery systems in vehicles or boats, it uses the (smart) alternator and start battery to charge the service battery. This charger can be monitored and configured through Bluetooth, remotely controlled via an on/off switch, and includes an engine running detection mechanism.

Adaptive 3-Stage Charge Algorithm
Includes bulk, absorption, and float stages:

• For lead-acid batteries, shallow discharges trigger shorter absorption times to prevent overcharging, while deep discharges automatically extend absorption time for complete recharging.
• For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed at 2 hours by default.
• Option to select a fixed output voltage.

Remote On/Off Control
Supports connection to a remote on/off switch or relay contact through a two-pole connector. The H terminal can be connected to battery plus, and the L terminal can be connected to battery minus or vehicle chassis.

Parallel Operation
All models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase output current, with no limitation on the number of units.

High Temperature Protection
Output current automatically reduces in high ambient temperatures.

IP43 Rating
Protected when installed with the screw terminals facing downwards.

Screw Terminals
Easy installation without the need for special tools.
