Premium Tambour Door Kit – Made to Measure for Campervans, Motorhomes & Furniture Projects

Our high-quality tambour doors are part of a stylish and practical range of shutter doors, designed to maximise storage access where traditional hinged doors may not be suitable.

Lightweight, smooth and quiet in operation, these tambour doors run on low-friction tracks for effortless opening and closing. Suitable for both vertical and horizontal installation, they are ideal for campervans, motorhomes, caravans, boats, workshops and bespoke furniture projects.

What’s Included

Each kit includes everything shown in the product image:

• Pair of spirals
• 2 x Surface-mounted running tracks
• Plastic tambour door, with slats in your chosen finish

Please note – you will need to source your own double-sided tape, etc.

Easy to Install

All tambour doors are custom cut and manufactured in our workshop for a precise fit and straightforward installation.

We recommend securing the tracks using strong double-sided tape (not supplied) for the cleanest finish. Alternatively, the tracks and spirals can be screwed into place using small countersunk screws to prevent interference with the sliding door mechanism.

We also manufacture optional tambour door mounting brackets to make installation even easier.

Important Sizing Information

Please refer to the sizing guide image before ordering to understand how the door, tracks and spirals work together.

Width Adjustment

As standard, we reduce the door width by 6mm to allow for the track system. Once fitted, the overall width returns to the size ordered.

Example:

• Ordered size: 500mm x 600mm
• Door slats cut to: 494mm wide
• Final installed width with tracks: 500mm

If you do NOT want the 6mm deduction applied, please contact us when placing your order.

Vertical & Horizontal Installation

When ordering:

• The listed “Width” always refers to the measurement when the door operates vertically (up/down)

If installing horizontally:

• Our listed width becomes your installed door height
